Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. The instant writ application has been preferred by the petitioner praying for a direction upon the respondent-authorities to consider the case of the petitioner and grant him appointment under the compassionate ground.

3. Learned counsel for the parties submits that since no counter-affidavit has been filed, as such the concerned respondent may be directed to take a decision on the claim of the petitioner as prayed in the instant writ application.

Having regard to the aforesaid submissions, the instant writ application is hereby disposed of by directing the concerned respondent to treat this writ application as representation and take a decision with regard to compassionate appointment of this petitioner in accordance with law and applicable rules and regulations of the respondent-Company within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of

this order. The petitioner is directed to serve a copy of this writ petition along with this order before the concerned respondent in order for early disposal of his claim.
