Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

This bail application has been filed on behalf of the abovenamed petitioner with prayer to release on bail in connection with Adityapur P.S. Case No.82 of 2023 registered under sections 20(B) II A and 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, pending in the court of learned Principal District and Sessions Judge at Seraikella.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that 900 gm ganja is alleged to have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner has been languishing in jail since 25.07.2024 having no criminal antecedent.

Learned APP for the State opposed the contentions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

In view of the submissions made, the bail application of the petitioner is hereby allowed. Let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand) with two sureties of like amount to the satisfaction of the court concerned in the aforesaid case.
