Petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Narkopi P.S. Case No. 38/2023, registered under Sections 147/ 149/ 225/ 353/ 342/ 504/ 506 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the Court of Ms. Sonali Singh, learned J.M., Ranchi.

It is alleged that on 29.07.2023, Narkopi police had gone to apprehend accused Sarfaraz Ansari in connection with Narkopi P.S. Case No. 32 of 2023 mainly under section 307 of the Indian Penal Code and found Sarfaraz Ansari roaming there. It further appears that Sarfaraz Ansari was apprehended. However, a mob of about 70-80 persons rescued Sarfaraj Ansari from the informant.

Learned lawyer appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that petitioner Nos. 01 to 5 are ladies and petitioner Nos. 6 and 7 are very old persons aged about 76 and 77 years respectively.

There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioners, the petitioners are ladies and old persons.

Regard being had to the facts and circumstance of the case; I am inclined to extend the privilege of Anticipatory Bail to them. They are directed to surrender before the court below within two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and learned court below on their surrender shall release them on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty five Thousand only) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Ms. Sonali Singh, learned J. M., Ranchi or her successor in connection with Narkopi P. S. Case No. 38/2023, Subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
