A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the respondents stating inter alia that the competent authority of the respondent-C.B.S.E has approved the required correction in the date of birth of the petitioner after analysing the school records afresh as well as the explanation of the concerned school for committing such mistake while sending/uploading the online particulars of the petitioner for appearing in the C.B.S.E examination. Accordingly, the desired correction has been accepted and approved by the respondent-C.B.S.E and the petitioner has been informed about the same through the concerned school.
The present writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
