The matter pertains to the Scheduled offence and the prayer for bail has been rejected vide order dated 20.01.2023 passed in B.P.No.993 of 2022 by the Additional Sessions Judge-VII, Giridih which is impugned in this appeal.
It appears from the order dated 17.03.2023 that the appellant was not represented and, as such, the matter was posted on 22.03.2023.
It further appears that even on 22.03.2023 none represented the appellant as such, the following order was passed :-
“05/Dated: 22nd March, 2023
It appears that none represented the appellant on 17.03.2023, as such, the matter was adjourned to be listed on 22.03.2023 (today).
But, today also none represented the appellant.

However, with a view to give one more chance to the learned counsel for the appellant, the matter is being adjourned to be listed tomorrow, i.e., on 23.03.2023.”
Today also, none represented the appellant. However, Mr. Pankaj Kumar, learned Public Prosecutor, is present to represent the respondent State of Jharkhand.
Accordingly, the instant appeal is dismissed for non-prosecution.
