Upon the satisfaction that mediation was successful and an amicable settlement was reached between the parties, this Court disposed of the criminal petitions (Cr.M.P. Nos. 402 and 370 of 2016). The petitions, arising out of alleged offenses under Section 498A IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, stand dismissed. Parties are granted liberty to enforce the settlement agreement before the Court of Judicial Magistrate, Chatra.

5 /11.12.2023 These petitions arising out of Pratappur P.S. Case No.58 of 2013, G.R. No.750 of 2013 (G.R. Trial No.37 of 2015), pending in the court of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1^st Class, Chatra.

The case is arising out of section 498A and other sections of I.P.C and sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The learned counsel for the O.P.no.2 is not present in the Court.

The matter was sent to Jhalsa, Ranchi for mediation between the parties by order dated 31.07.2019.

The mediation report is on the record which suggest that mediation is successful and both the parties have agreed to settle their dispute amicably.

The learned counsel for the O.P.No.2 is not present and the learned counsel for the petitioners is also not having instruction.

In view of settlement, these petitions are disposed of with liberty to the parties to pursue the said settlement before the learned court.

These petitions stand disposed of accordingly.
