Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Pratappur P.S. Case No. 77 of 2023, for the offence under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25 (1-B) a, 26 of the Arms Act, pending in the court of learned S.D.J.M., Chatra.
On 23.05.2023 at about 9:00 A.M, Pratappur Police apprehended this petitioner from place near Gajwa Chatra Nursery. On search, a country-made pistol and mobile phone were recovered from the possession of this petitioner.
It was submitted that petitioner is in custody for about six months and charge-sheet has already been submitted in this case.
Considering the period of custody, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/-(Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Chatra, in connection with Pratappur P.S. Case No. 77 of 2023.
