Nihal Rawani Vs the State of Jharkhand

Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Sudamdih P.S. Case No. 38/2023, corresponding to G. R. Case No. 1952 of 2023, registered under Sections 25(1-B) (a)/ 26/ 35 of the Arms Act, pending in the Court of Ms. Santoshini Murmu, learned J.M.F.C., Dhanbad.

On 19.06.2023 at about 05:30 P.M., Sudamdih police apprehended this petitioner alongwith one Dhiraj Kumar Prasad and on search a loaded country made pistol was recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

Learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that petitioner is in custody since 20.06.2023. It was further submitted that police after investigation submitted chargesheet in this case.

Regard being had to the facts and circumstance of the case, the petitioner named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Ms. Santoshini Murmu, learned J.M.F.C., Dhanbad or her successor in connection with Sudamdih P.S. Case No. 38/2023, corresponding to G. R. Case No. 1952 of 2023.
