Aryan Raj Alias Aryan Bhagat Vs the State of Jharkhand

Petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Pakuria P.S. Case No. 72/2022, corresponding to G. R. Case No. 743/2022, registered under Sections 341/ 323/ 498-A/ 504/ 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code, Sections 03/04 of the D.P. Act, pending in the Court of Sri K. Prakash, learned J.M.F.C., Pakur.

Petitioner was having affairs with the opposite Party no. 2. The petitioner induced her to leave her lawful guardianship and thereafter they got married. After marriage the petitioner and his family members started torturing the opposite Party no. 2 to enforce the demand of Rs 15 lakhs and when the demand was not met the opposite Party No. 2 was driven away from her matrimonial home.

Both the petitioner and the opposite Party No. 2 are present in the court. The opposite Party No. 2 had expressed her inclination to resume her matrimonial relationship but the petitioner does not want to receive her back.

Regard being had to the facts of the case; I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on Anticipatory Bail. Accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail stands rejected.

The petitioner, if so, advised may surrender before the court below within two weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
