2. Learned counsel for the respondents Mr. Manish Kumar, is present.
3. This writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs:
“a. To allow the petitioner to join as Lecturer in the Department of Political Science in Ranchi Women’s College, Ranchi by sanctioning her medical leave/leave without pay for the remaining period in view of the fact that the petitioner a permanent Lecturer of the aforesaid Ranchi Women’s College, Ranchi, was on study leave from 17.08.1983 to 1985 and mean while her husband “a civil engineer” met with fatal accident by motorcycle causing him physical and mental disability and finally death and resulting in great shock, deep depression and mental illness to the petitioner, which incapacitated her to join her duty during the intervening period.
b. To allow the petitioner to join as a Lecturer in the Department of Political Science of Ranchi Women’s College, Ranchi in view of the fact that now she has recovered and can perform her duty of teaching.
c. To pay the salary of the petitioner till 1982 which has not been paid as yet and salary for study leave for the period 17.08.1983 till 1985 and other dues treating her service in continuity.”

4. From perusal of the order dated 06.11.2017, it appears that learned counsel for the petitioner had prayed for adjournment of two weeks for filing substitution petition and as per office note, no substitution petition has been filed till today.
5. Considering the fact that no substitution petition has been filed, the present petition is treated as abated.
