1. This writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs: -
“i. For issuance of an appropriate writ(s)/order(s)/or direction(s) particularly a writ in the nature of Certiorari to quash the entire departmental proceeding including memo of charge (Annexure-5 & 5/A) initiated against the petitioner vide letter no. 23.03.18 and communicated to the petitioner vide letter no. 1670 dated 06.04.2018 through speed post which was received by the petitioner on 12.04.18 i.e., after more than four years of the cause of action.
ii. For issuance of an appropriate writ(s)/order(s)/or direction(s) particularly a writ in the nature of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondent authorities illegal, void and without jurisdiction on the ground that departmental proceeding has been initiated after retirement of the petitioner and also after more than seven years and four years from the date of arising of the cause of action i.e. for the charge of the year 2010-11 and four years i.e. for the charge of the year 2013-14 for initiation of the proceeding, and on the score itself, the entire departmental proceeding be declared to be illegal & vitiated.

iii. Petitioner further prays for any other relief/reliefs, as Your Lordships may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of this case for doing conscionable justice to the petitioner.”
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner Mr. Deepak Kumar Dubey, upon instructions from his client, seeks permission to withdraw this petition at this stage.
3. Learned counsel for the respondents has no objection to the prayer made.
4. Accordingly, the present writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn at this stage.
5. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
6. Pending interlocutory application, if any, is closed as not pressed.
