Heard the parties.
This application has been filed for extension of period of surrender before the learned court below as per the direction of this Court in A.B.A. No.5420 of 2022 vide order dated 29.07.2022.
It appears that the petitioner was directed to be released on anticipatory bail on surrender in the court below within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below. It further appears that the petitioner could not surrender in the court below within the stipulated period.
It was submitted that mother of the petitioner was seriously ill and as such, he could not comply with the order of this Court.
Considering the facts of the case, petitioner is further directed to surrender in the Court below within the period of further two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the learned court below shall release him on anticipatory bail, as laid down in A.B.A. No. 5420 of 2022 vide order dated 29.07.2022, i.e., in connection with Chitra P.S Case No.26 of 2022, pending in the court of learned S.D.J.M., Madhupur.
However, it is made clear that no prayer for further extension of time will be entertained.
