The petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Jari P.S. Case No.28 of 2021, for the offence under Sections 27 (b) (ii) of Drugs and Cosmetic Act and Section 18 (c) and 21 (c) of the NDPS Act, pending in the court of learned Sessions Judge, Gumla.

Bail application of this petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court in B.A. No.10467 of 2021 vide order dated 30.11.2021.

It is alleged that during intervening night of 29/30.06.2021, the informant party on the basis of confidential information raided the house of this petitioner and on search, 14 bottles of Rexux Cough Syrup of 100 ml were recovered.

It was submitted that the petitioner is custody since 30.06.2021.

Considering the period of custody, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail.

Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/-(Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Gumla, in connection with Jari P.S. Case No.28 of 2021.
