Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Chainpur P.S. Case No. 0014 of 2022, N.D.P.S. Case No.01 of 2022 for the offence under Sections 20, 22, 25 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, pending in the court of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, N.D.P.S. Act, Palamau.
On 24.01.2022, 325 grams of cannabis were recovered from the tea stall of this petitioner.
It was submitted that quantum of recovered cannabis comes within the purview of small quantity.
Regard being had to the facts of the case, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/-(Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, N.D.P.S. Act, Palamau in connection with Chainpur P.S. Case No. 0014 of 2022, N.D.P.S. Case No.01 of 2022.
