1. Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.P.P.
2. The applicant, who is in custody since 07.12.2021, has approached this Court for grant of regular bail in connection with Thakurgangti P.S. Case No.66 of 2021, registered for the offence under Sections 363 & 366(A)/ 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. The applicant has been made an accused of kidnapping the minor girl and establishing physical relationship with her.
4. Learned counsel for the applicant claims innocence of the applicant and it has been submitted that the applicant undertakes to participate in the trial as the investigation has already been completed.
5. On the other hand, learned A.P.P has opposed the prayer for bail.
6. Considering the materials available on record and the age of the victim girl, I am not inclined to enlarge the applicant on bail, at this stage. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the applicant is, hereby, rejected.
