The petitioner is an accused for the offence punishable under Sections 376 IPC, is praying for grant of regular bail in connection with Nawa Jaipur P.S. Case No. 16 of 2021, corresponding to G.R. No. 2781 of 2021, pending in the court of J.M, 1st Class, Palamau.
Heard the learned counsel for the parties and I have gone through the entire record including the impugned order.
There is direct allegation against the petitioner of committing rape upon the victim, aged about 70 years.
Considering direct allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant privilege of bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner stands rejected.
