The matter was taken up through Video Conferencing. Learned counsels for the parties had no objection with it and submitted that the audio and video qualities are good.

The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Kenduadih P.S. Case No.98 of 2020 for the offence under Sections 498-A, 304-B, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/ 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, pending in the Court of learned A.C.J.M., Dhanbad.

The wife of the petitioner died at her matrimonial home in suspicious circumstances. It is alleged that the petitioner was an alcoholic and there was dispute between the husband and the wife due to which, she committed suicide.

It further appears that there is delay of 14 days in lodging of this F.I.R and the petitioner had instituted U.D case for the death of his wife.

Learned counsel for the State, when inquired, could not explain the reason for delay in lodging of this case.

Regard being had to the facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/-(Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M., Dhanbad, in connection with Kenduadih P.S. Case No.98 of 2020.
