The matter was taken up through Video Conferencing. Learned counsel for the parties had no objection with it and submitted that the audio and video qualities are good.

03/14.01.2021 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is accused in connection with Khunti (AHTU) P. S. Case No. 03 of 2015 corresponding to G. R. No. 27 of 2015(S) [S. T. No. 123 of 2020] pending in the Court of learned District & Additional Sessions Judge-1, Khunti.

It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the alleged victim girl has been recovered and the allegation is against this petitioner is that the victim girl has been placed in employment through the placement agency of one of the co-accused namely Lembo Devi @ Lembo Munda, who has been granted bail by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in B. A. No. 886 of 2016 vide order dated 04.04.2016. Another co-accused namely, Kinu Munda has also been granted bail the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in B. A. No. 7257 of 2018 vide order dated 03.12.2018.

On the other hand, learned APP has opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the material available on record and the considering the period of custody and the fact that other co-accused have already been granted bail by the Coordinate Bench of this Court¸ the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned District & Additional Sessions Judge-1, Khunti in connection with Khunti (AHTU) P. S. Case No. 03 of 2015 corresponding to G. R. No. 27 of 2015(S) [S. T. No. 123 of 2020] subject to the condition that the petitioner will submit self attested copy of his Aadhar Card and also give his mobile number before the learned court below which he will not change during pendency of this case without prior permission of the court.
