The matter was taken up through Video Conferencing. Learned counsel for the parties had no objection with it and submitted that the audio and video qualities are good.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
The petitioner is accused in connection with Giridih (M) P. S. Case No. 96 of 2020 pending in the Court of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Giridih.
It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 28.04.2020. There is no eyewitness to the occurrence and only on the basis of suspicion, this petitioner has been roped in the present case.
On the other hand, learned APP has opposed the prayer for bail.
Perused the record. From perusal of the record, it appears that the deceased is wife of this petitioner. Post-mortem report and the investigation by the I.O. itself suggest that it is a homicidal death. The deceased and this petitioner were residing in the house, which was closed from inside and as such, there was no question of entering of another person into the room.
Considering the material available on record, this Court is not inclined to enlarge this petitioner on bail at this stage. Accordingly, the bail application is hereby rejected.
