The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Bokaro Mahila P.S.

Case No. 04 of 2020.

The petitioner had earlier moved this Court for grant of anticipatory bail in A.B.A. No. 6461 of 2020, which, however, was dismissed as not maintainable since process under section 82 Cr.P.C. had already been issued during the pendency of the proceeding.

The informant is alleged to have developed acquaintance with the petitioner through Facebook and after sometime, the petitioner had started blackmailing her and pestering her which ultimately led the informant to resign from the school.

It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the matter has been compromised between the parties, for which he has referred to the counter affidavit filed by the informant.

Learned counsel for the informant has submitted that since the marriage of the informant has been fixed elsewhere, she does not want to proceed further in this case and therefore the compromise has indeed been effected between the parties.

In view of subsequent development and on consideration of the terms and conditions of the compromise, so entered into, I am inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to surrender in the court below within a period of four weeks from today and on his surrender/arrest, he will be enlarged on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- ( Ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1^st class, Bokaro in connection with Bokaro Mahila P.S. Case No. 04 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
