This bail application has been filed on behalf of applicant Kanchan Hembrum with a prayer to release her on bail in case crime being Chaibasa (Muffasil) P.S. Case No. 02 of 2020, corresponding to S.T. Case No. 94 of 2020 registered for the offence under Sections 306 and 498A of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of Additional Sessions JudgeIV, Chaibasa.

Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that applicant is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case and there is nothing in the F.I.R in regard to abetment made by the applicant to commit suicide, while there is allegation in the F.I.R that the applicant was addicted to drugs and intoxicants and on account of same applicant used to beat deceased and with this sole reason the deceased had locked the door from inside and committed suicide. It is further submitted that on the date of occurrence the applicant was not present at the house. It is also submitted that the applicant has been languishing in jail since 16.01.2020. The cause of death due to asphyxia on account of hanging.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the contention made by the learned counsel for the applicant.

In view of the submissions made above and considering the materials available on record, this bail application deserves to be allowed. Accordingly, the applicant, namely, Kanchan Hembrum be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 30,000/- (Thirty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-IV, Chaibasa in connection with Chaibasa (Muffasil) P.S. Case No. 02 of 2020, corresponding to S.T. Case No. 94 of 2020.
