The petitioner is an accused in connection with Deori P.S. Case No. 38 of 2019.
It has been alleged that the petitioner had assaulted the father of the informant with basil and other accused persons had also assaulted. Subsequently, the father of the informant died. The cause of death has been opined to be head injury.
Regard being had to the direct nature of allegations levelled against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Hence his prayer for bail is accordingly rejected.
