The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case

No.1908 of 2018.

The marriage of the complainant was solemnized with the petitioner on 17.10.2017. It has been alleged that after some time, there was a demand of cash of Rs.1.00 Lac and a washing-machine and on non-fulfilment of which, she was repeatedly subjected to torture.

Mr. Kamdeo Pandey, learned counsel for the petitioner, at the outset, submits that the petitioner is ready and willing to keep the O.P. No.2 with him full honour and dignity. He also referred to the solemn affirmation of the complainant by stating that the O.P. No.2 is also willing to reside with the petitioner.

Mr. Manoj Kumar Sinha, learned counsel for the O.P. No.2 submits that the complainant is ready to stay with the O.P. No2.

The complaint petition reveals that the allegation appears to be general and omnibus in nature, so far as the present petitioner is concerned and moreover, since both the parties are inclined to stay together as has also been stated by the learned counsel for the respective parties, I am inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned court below within four weeks from today and on such surrender, he shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Giridih in connection with Complaint Case No.1908 of 2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
