Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and counsel for the
State.
Petitioner is accused in connection with Sariya P.S. Case No.143/2018, registered under Sections 376 and 506 of the IPC and section 4 of the POCSO Act and also under Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that four witnesses have been examined in the proceeding. P.W. 1 is the victimgirl. From perusal of her deposition, it appears that the petitioner has been made an accused for demand of dowry. The petitioner is in custody since 11.12.2018.
Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail.
In the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the period of custody and nature of allegation and also that the investigation is completed, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge-cum-District Judge-I, Giridih in connection with Sariya P.S. Case No.143/2018.
