Learned A.P.P. appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.
Petitioner is accused for allegedly committing the offence punishable under Sections 25(1-B)a, 26, 35 of the Arms Act and Section 17 of the Criminal Law Amendment Act, in connection with Karra Police Station Case No.17 of 2018 corresponding to G.R. No.122 of 2018, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khunti.
From the possession of this petitioner one double barrel gun was recovered. Petitioner has remained in custody since 01.04.2018.
Taking into consideration the period of custody, petitioner, namely, Sukhdeo Singh @ Bitu, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khunti in connection with Karra Police Station Case No.17 of 2018 corresponding to G.R. No.122 of 2018.
