Heard learned counsel for the parties. Learned A.P.P. opposes the prayer for bail.
The petitioner is an accused for allegedly committing an offence punishable under Sections 419, 420, 120(B)/34 of the IPC and Sections 66( C), 66(D) of the IT Act.
Police got information that this petitioner is involved in cyber crime. He was apprehended from the spot. From his possession, six SIM Cards were recovered out of which five were in the name of fictitious persons. It is further alleged that petitioner purchased several articles by using the ATM cards and the same has transpired during investigation.
In view of the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to grant privilege of bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in connection with Khunti P.S. Case No. 53 of 2018, corresponding to G.R. No. 134 of 2018, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khunti stands rejected.
