Learned A.P.P. appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.
Petitioner is an accused for allegedly committing the offence punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code, in connection with Torpa Police Station Case No.48 of 2018, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khunti.
Miscreants had snatched Rs.7,000/- cash amount, which was kept in the bag of the informant and also his mobile phone. Petitioner is not named in the FIR. His name transpired from the confessional statement of co-accused. Nothing has been recovered from his possession nor he was put on Test Identification Parade.
Considering the aforesaid facts, petitioner, namely, Rajesh Manjhi, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khunti in connection with Torpa Police Station Case No.48 of 2018.
