The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Haidarnagar P.S. Case No. 22/2017 corresponding to G.R. No. 258/2017, the case registered under Sections 414 of the Indian Penal Code, Sections 11(A), (D) & (E) of the Cruelty to Animal Act, Sections 3, 4, 5 and 12 of Jharkhand Bovine Animal Prohibition of Slaughter Act, 2005 and section 125(e) of the Transportation of Animal Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioners are owner of the seized vehicles but they have no concern with the cattle loaded on the said vehicles. It is further submitted that the vehicles were handed over to the respective drivers to ply the same and petitioners have not been arrested at the place of occurrence.

Learned A.P.P opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the fact and circumstances of the case, the above named petitioners are directed to surrender in the Court below within four weeks from the date of this order and in the event of their arrest or surrender, the Court below shall enlarge the above named petitioners, on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of C.J.M.,Palamau at Daltonganj, in connection with Haidarnagar P.S. Case No. 22/2017 corresponding to G.R. No. 258/2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C., subject to the condition that one of the bailors must be the local resident of Palamau district, subject to the further condition that on the date of surrender petitioners shall deposit Rs.3,000/- each in the court below.

The aforesaid deposit shall be subject to the final result of the case.
