Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
The petitioner has been made an accused for the offence registered under Section 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Pursuant to the order dated 22.06.2016 a report was called for the same has been received.
Perused the report dated 11.07.2016 it appears that nine witnesses have already been examined and two witnesses and doctor are yet to be examined and case may be concluded within about two months.
Taking all these facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected at this stage.
However the trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and shall take all possible steps to conclude the trial within two months from the date of production of copy of this order and if the trial is not concluded within the prescribed period, petitioner is at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.
Let a copy of the order be sent to the trial Court.
