The petitioner is an accused in connection with Karra P.S. Case No. 26/2015, corresponding to G.R. Case No. 210 of 2015, registered for the offence punishable under sections 452, 376, 511 of the Indian Penal Code.
It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has falsely been implicated by the informant on the allegation of attempting to commit rape upon her.
It has further been submitted that there was a delay of two days in lodging the FIR and no explanation has been given with respect to such delay.
It has also been submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 23.05.2015.
Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that there is an allegation against the petitioner of attempting to commit rape upon the informant .
Regard being had to the aforesaid fact, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand only), with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri D.R. Tirkey, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st class, Khunti in connection with Karra P.S. Case No. 26/2015, corresponding to G.R. Case No. 210 of 2015.
