The petitioners are apprehending their arrests in connection with Jagarnathpur P.S. Case No.259 of 2014, corresponding to G.R. No.4518 of 2014, for the alleged offences under Section 489-A of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 & 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
Though there is allegation against the petitioners also to have subjected the informant to cruelty and torture, but it appears from the FIR that the petitioners are brothers-in-law and sister-in-law of the informant.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, it is directed that in the event of surrender / arrest, the petitioners Hemkesh Narain Singh, Smt. Rinku Kumari and Vishal Kumar Singh shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount of each to the satisfaction of Sri S.N. Tiwary, learned Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi, or his successor, in connection with Jagarnathpur P.S. Case No.259 of 2014, corresponding to G.R. No.4518 of 2014, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
