Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has died and there is nobody to prosecute this petition on his behalf. The judgment of acquittal, which is the subject matter of this criminal revision petition is also under challenge in the connected appeal bearing CRAA No. 31/2008. Therefore, there is no requirement of proceeding ahead with this criminal revision, inasmuch as, the legality and validity of the impugned judgment is already a subject matter for consideration in the connected appeal.
