ORDER
Mr. Sajad Ashraf, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, has produced a copy of Government Order No. Home/PB-V/942 of 2020 dated 12.04.2020 passed by the Principal Secretary to Government, whereby detention order of the detenu-Reyaz Ahmad Khan @ Abu Baba S/o Ab. Rashid Khan R/o Hajin Kralgund, Tehsil Kralgund, District Kupwara, has been revoked with immediate effect.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the detenu has since been released.
In view of the aforesaid facts, this petition has been rendered infructuous as nothing survives in this petition for adjudication.
This petition is, accordingly, dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
