2. This writ petition has been filed for grant of following substantive relief:-

“ A. That a writ in the nature of mandamus may kindly be issued for directing the Respondents to grant and allow the increments at the admissible rate in favour of the Petitioners w.e.f. 2000-2007 by

adding the same to their basic pay at the time of their regularization..”

3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that

the petitioners have preferred a representation dated 10.01.2025 (Annexure P-10) to respondent No.2 for redressal of their grievance, however, the same has still not been decided by the respondent No.2/Competent Authority. Learned counsel further submits that the petitioners would be content in case respondent No.2/competent authority is directed to decide the aforesaid representation within a fixed time schedule. Learned Additional Advocate General is not averse to this prayer.

4. Having regard to the afore-submissions, but

without examining the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2/ Competent Authority to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioners dated 10.01.2025 (Annexure P-10) in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from today. The decision so arrived at shall also be communicated to the petitioners.
