The instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. by both the complainant and the accused, who are petitioner No.1 and petitioner No.2, respectively, for quashing of FIR No.66/2013 of 25.5.2013, registered at Police Station, Barsar, District Hamirpur for alleged commission of offences under Section 354A(II), 504, 506 and 427 IPC.

The petitioners have placed on record a duly executed compromise deed inter se them. Its perusal divulges that the petitioner No.1 and petitioner No.2 herein have mutually and amicably resolved their differences which had led petitioner No.1 to institute an FIR bearing the number aforesaid against the accusedpetitioner No.2. Given the factum of an amicable settlement having been arrived at inter se the petitioners, who stand in close relation as such for preserving, protecting and fostering smooth relations inter se them, their aspiration and desire to amicably

settle the differences ought to be revered. Consequently, the present petition is accepted and FIR No.66 of 25.5.2013, registered at Police Station, Barsar, District Hamirpur is quashed and set aside and consequent proceedings, instituted in pursuance thereof, pending before the Court of learned JMIC Barsar, are also quashed and set aside.
