It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is entitled to the benefit of Assured Career Progression Scheme (for short ‘scheme’), but the respondents have not considered the case of the petitioner for grant of the said benefit.

Issue notice. Mr.Ashok Sharma, learned Assistant Solicitor General of India, waives notice on behalf of the respondents.

In the given circumstances, we deem it proper to dispose of these writ petitions with liberty to the writ petitioners to file representation(s) within two weeks from today before the

competent Authority and the competent Authority is directed to examine the same and make decision thereon, as per the rules occupying the field read with Scheme, within six weeks from the date of filing of the representation(s). Ordered accordingly.

It goes without saying that in case, the decision goes against the petitioners, they are at liberty to seek appropriate remedy, in accordance with law.
