Heard Mr. M.A. Islam, learned counsel for the petitioner.
Mr. Islam has submitted that since the petitioner has already filed an application seeking delivery of the notified public service, ‘Composite Land Sale Transfer’ on 24.03.2026. As the said service has not been delivered by the Designated Public Servant till date, the petitioner will first exhaust the remedy of statutory appeals, as provided by the provisions of the Assam Right to Public Service Act, 2012, as amended. In that view of the matter, the petitioner wants to withdraw the contempt petition, at this stage.
In view of the submission made by Mr. Islam that the petitioner will prefer remedy of statutory appeal under the Assam Right to Public Service Act, this contempt petition is closed at this stage.
