1. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the parties that pursuant to this Court’s

earlier order dated 27.03.2023, passed in WP(C) No. 5305/2016, a Speaking Order dated 05.06.2024 has been passed, whereby the claim of the petitioner for incremental benefit of salary and UGC Scale of Pay, based on his Ph.D. degree, has been rejected.
2. Be that as it may, the order dated 27.03.2023 (supra) has already been complied with.
3. Accordingly, the present contempt petition stands closed.
4. However, the petitioner shall be at liberty to assail the Speaking Order dated 05.06.2024, before the appropriate forum, if so desires.
