It is noticed that no one appeared for the petitioner on the last Court date also.
Mr. R. Dhar, learned counsel appears for the respondents submits that the Guest House will be used as the Directorate of the Handloom & Textile Department.
The matter pertains to the prayer of the petitioner for extension of the lease period for running the Guest House, in terms of the representations made by the petitioner in the year 2019-2020.
The petitioner’s counsel had been directed earlier to obtain instructions with regard to whether the petition has become infructuous.
However, as stated above, no one has appeared for the petitioner on the last two Court dates. As such, this Court is of the view that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the matter.
The writ petition is accordingly dismissed for non-prosecution.
