The matter comes up for consideration of I.A.(Civil) No.3729/2023 with a prayer to condone the delay of 171 days occasioned in filing the connected writ appeal.

Mr. D. Nath, learned Senior Government Advocate, Assam appearing for the applicants has submitted that in an identical matter, this Court has pleased to condone the delay and further pleased to admit the appeal.

Taking into consideration the fact that in an identical writ appeal, the delay has already been condoned and the matter has been admitted, we deem it appropriate to allow the instant Interlocutory Application and condone the delay of 171 days occasioned in filing the connected writ appeal.

Ordered accordingly.

The Registry is directed to number the connected writ appeal and list the same for admission before this Court after 2(two) weeks.
