Heard Mr. R Dhar, learned counsel or the petitioner and Mr. R J Baruah, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the State respondent No. 1.
The petitioner was arrested on 15.03.2024 in connection with Karimganj Police Station Case No. 172/2024 registered under Sections 22(c)/25/29 of the NDPS Act corresponding to G.R. Case No. 535/2024 and since then he is in custody.

Hence, this bail application filed by the petitioner under Section 439 of the CrPC.
During the deliberation of the matter, Mr. Baruah, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam has submitted that police after investigating the matter submitted Charge-Sheet in said Karimganj P.S. Case No. 172/2024 vide Charge-Sheet No. 299/2024 dated 13.07.2024.
In view of the above, Mr. Dhar, learned counsel for the petitioner is not pressing this bail application and has submitted that the petitioner shall approach the appropriate forum for his regular bail.
Accordingly, this bail application, being not pressed, stands dismissed.
