Heard Mr. P K Mazumdar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. S Jahan, learned counsel for the State respondent No. 1.
The petitioner was arrested on 30.05.2024 in connection with Special Case No. 38(M)/2024, Bongaigaon arising out of Manikpur Police Station Case No. 168/2023 registered under Sections 120(B)/366(A)/376(3) IPC read with Section 6 of the POCSO Act, 2012.
The petitioner on 27.07.2024 filed this application seeking bail in said Special Case No. 38(M)/2024, Bongaigaon arising out of Manikpur P.S. Case No. 168/2023, noted above.
However, on instruction, Mr. Mazumdar, learned counsel for the petitioner is not pressing this bail application, to which the learned counsel for the State respondent No. 1 has no objection.
Accordingly, this bail application, being not pressed, stands dismissed.
