Heard Mr. A. Baruah, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. G. Sarma, learned Standing Counsel, F. T and Border as well as Mr. K. Gogoi, learned Addl. Senior Govt. Advocate.
At the outset, the learned Standing Counsel, F.T & Border maters has produced a copy of communication under memo No. MRG/B/2023/352 dtd 06.06.2023 wherein it has been stated that on an enquiry conducted by the police personnel, reference was initiated against Abu Sahid vide F.T.Case No. 8/2022 and said reference was forwarded to the learned Member of the Foreigners Tribunal,5th , Morigaon to register a case and accordingly F. T. Case 449/2023 has been registered.
In view of the said information it is kept as a part of the record, the grievance raised by the petitioner appears to be redressed.
Accordingly in view of the F.T.Case being registered against the respondent No.5, this writ petition stands closed.
