Heard Mr. A. Chakraborty, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. S. R. Rabha, learned Standing counsel, BTC for the respondent Nos. 1 to 6.
The Council Head of Department, Irrigation, BTC, Kokrajhar, respondent No. 3 has allotted the work of “Makra Dohalapara Fis (Ph-I) (Construction of Canal Regulator (2Nos.), RCC lining of B/C2(Ch.0M to Ch. 200M) and B/C-5(Ch.0M to Ch. 26M) Group No. 5 under SCA to TSP for the year 201617 under Kokrajhar Division (Irrigation) Kokrajhar” to the petitioner on 20.12.2016 with an estimated value of Rs. 50,08,476/- (Annexure-3 to this petition).

It is stated by the petitioner that the respondent authorities prepared 1st Running Account Bill-C vide Bill No. R/1/004-E dated 31.05.2017 for an amount of Rs. 47,62,101/- in his favour for the aforesaid allotted work which is under progress. But the respondent authorities concerned did not release the said amount to him. Hence, this writ petition.
Learned counsels for the parties submitted at the bar that this case is covered by the order dated 22.12.2021 passed by this Court in WP(C) No. 7152/2021.
In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of in terms of the order dated 22.12.2021 passed in WP(C) No. 7152/2021.
