Heard Mr. A. Chakraborty, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. S. R. Rabha, learned Standing counsel, BTC for the respondent Nos. 1 to 6.
The Council Head of Department, Irrigation, BTC, Kokrajhar, respondent No. 3 has allotted the work of “Lokaijan FIS (Ph-I) (Improvement of L/S Afflux bund, Construction of Canal Regulator, RCC lining of Main Canal from Ch.315.50m to Ch.621.50M) Group No. 5 under Article-275(1) for the year 2016-17 under Kokrajhar Division (Irrigation) Kokrajhar” to the petitioner on 16.12.2016 with an estimated value of Rs. 1,00,01,366/- (Annexure-4 to this petition).
It is stated by the petitioner that the respondent authorities prepared Running Account Bill-C vide Bill No. R/1/87 dated 27.03.2017 for an amount of Rs. 59,90,581/- in his favour for the aforesaid

allotted work which is under progress. But the respondent authorities concerned did not release the said amount to him. Hence, this writ petition.
Learned counsels for the parties submitted at the bar that this case is covered by the order dated 22.12.2021 passed by this Court in WP(C) No. 7152/2021.
In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of in terms of the order dated 22.12.2021 passed in WP(C) No. 7152/2021.
