This is an appeal filed by the claimant against the judgment and order dated 13.06.2017 passed by the learned Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Morigaon, (hereinafter referred to as “Tribunal”), in MAC Case No. 48/2015.

The New India Assurance Company Limited (for short Insurance Company) is represented by Shri SK Hansi, Regional Manager.
The claimant is represented by Shri M. Talukdar, the learned counsel.
The parties present before this Court jointly submit that the matter has been settled outside the Court by paying an additional amount of Rs.2,68,903/- (Rupees Two Lakh Sixty Eight Thousand Nine Hundred and Three) as full and final settlement has been agreed upon over and above the awarded amount.
In view of the above, the appeal stands closed with a direction that the Insurance Company shall now deposit the additional amount of Rs.2,68,903/- (Rupees Two Lakh Sixty Eight Thousand Nine Hundred Three) being the full and final settlement before the learned MACT, Morigaon within a period of 45 days from today. The said amount would be released to the claimant on being properly identified by the learned counsel for the claimant. In this regard, the application filed by the claimant is made part of the records.
A memo of settlement is made a part of the record.
The MAC Appeal stands disposed of.
