Heard Mr. R. Mazumdar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. R.K.D. Choudhury, learned A.S.G.I. for the respondent contemnors. Also heard Mr. A. Dasgupta, learned Senior counsel for the respondent in the Railway Department. Mr. Dharmraj Ram, Commanding Officer 1st Bn. of the RPSF, Lumding is also present before the Court as per ordered earlier.
The Commanding Officer has produced certain bank documents which show that the arrear salary and other benefits entitled to the petitioner as per the order of this Court have been deposited in his bank account.
In view of such statement, contempt petition stands closed.
However, if the statement made before the Court that the amount have been paid is found to be incorrect by the petitioner, liberty remains to approach again.
Personal appearance is dispensed with.
