Heard Mr. R Islam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. SMT Chistie, learned counsel for the sole contemnor.
The instant contempt application has been filed alleging willful and deliberate violation of the order dated 03.02.2021 passed by this Court in WP(C) No.621/2021.

Vide the order dated 03.02.2021 a direction was given amongst others that the petitioner would be at liberty to file an appeal before the State Level Scrutiny Committee and the authority shall consider the matter in accordance with law as provided in the Assam Education (Provincialisation of Services of Teachers and Re-organisation of Educational Institution) Act, 2017.
The learned counsel for the respondent/sole contemnor submits that in pursuance to the order passed by this Court, an appeal was filed by the contempt petitioner and thereupon vide an order dated 22.03.2022 the claim of the petitioner for provincialisation of the service has been rejected by passing a reasoned order.
A copy of the order has been placed and the same is kept on record and marked with the letter X.
In view of the above, nothing remains in the instant contempt proceedings and the same stands closed.
