Heard Mr. P. Bharadwaj, the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. K. Gogoi, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the opposite party/contemnor.
The instant contempt petition has been filed for alleging willful and deliberate violation of the order dated 18.03.2021 passed by this Court in WP(C) No. 1747/2017.

Mr. K. Gogoi, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the opposite party/contemnor submits that the order has been duly complied with vide a speaking order dated 05.05.2022 whereby the Director of Higher Education, Assam has allowed regular Scale of Pay in respect of the petitioner for fulfilling the condition imposed on the approval of his appointment dated 06.01.2014 and allowed to draw regular UGC Scale of Pay with the other allowances with effect from 06.01.2014 as he has obtained M.Phil degree in June, 2009 from the Vinayaka Missions University.
Copy of the said order produced by Mr. K. Gogoi, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the opposite party/contemnor be kept on record and marked with the letter ‘X’.
In that view of the matter, the instant contempt proceeding stands closed.
