Heard Ms. B. Das, learned counsel for the applicant / writ petitioner, who submits that the subject matter of the writ petition is non-payment of pending salaries and in the meantime, the petitioner has also retired from service as a Night Watchman.
On the other hand, Shri B. Choudhury, learned Standing Counsel, Agriculture Department submits though he has no objection towards fixing a date for hearing, he may be allowed to file the affidavit-in-opposition, in the meantime.
In view of the above, list this writ petition for hearing on 26.07.2022 in which time the Department may file its affidavit-in-opposition.
The IA accordingly stands disposed of.
